The Hammers paid a club record £45million to sign the centre-forward in the summer from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Haller, 25, has started with three goals in three games in Premier League and looks like playing a key role for Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
Ex-West Ham player Tony Cottee believes there will be constant pressure on Haller’s shoulders, but likes the look of him as a player.
“The club played a lot of money for him, £45million for one player for West Ham is an incredible amount of money and credit to the board for spending that,”
“What it does do is puts pressure on a player because you are the £45million man and you are going to be judged on the goals.
“20 league goals, someone needs to do that at West Ham to kick them on. I think in Haller, early days let’s not get carried away, he’s got a chance. He has started brilliantly.
