West Ham United are looking to seal a loan move for AS Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi, with boss David Moyes still very much keen on a long-term target of his.
The 31-year-old brings plenty of Premier League experience to the table after making 195 appearances for Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City.
Moyes was after Nzonzi in the past and thinks he would be an asset as he has top-flight experience in England.
Aston Villa also showed an interest in Nzonzi, but Moyes’s long-term quest for him may influence the final decision.
Nzonzi is currently on a season-long loan with Turkish giants Galatasaray where he has featured in 15 games across all competitions.
