Darren Randolph will finally secure his return to West Ham today after undergoing the “world’s longest medical”.
The Middlesbrough goalkeeper is currently carrying a thigh injury and the Hammers have been dithering over the past week.
A deal was agreed with the Championship club last week for a £4m move.
It comes two-and-a-half years on from when he left the London Stadium for the Riverside.
Randolph has already agreed terms over his return to the capital and has been waiting patiently.
Results from his medical, though, indicated his injury was more serious than first thought.
